Comics Galore on “Big Bang Theory” [Comics]

This week on the hit CBS show “Big Bang Theory”, we see our gang of intellectual misfits introduce Penny to their local comic book store.  In addition to the typical geek paraphernalia (such as action figures and posters), there are an abundance of comic books to pick from.

Here is an abridged list of all of the comic books that can be found in this comic book store.  Most of them are very current, with some not even released yet.  As far as I can tell, there are only two major publishers – the illustrious DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics.  Dark Horse is, IMO, one of the best forward-thinking comic publishers today.

Klingon Mating Rituals in Big Bang Theory [Nga’Chuq]

In Season 1, Episode 12, the characters are found discussing the rules of Klingon mating rituals to answer the age-old question of whether a Vulcan can mate with a Klingon, and survive to tell the tale. Luckily, we never find the answer on the show.

Klingon mating rituals are very violent, and they resemble a very primitive type of S&M – foreplay consists of kicking the p’tahk out of your partner before having your way with them. Bruises, broken bones, and sometimes death is a part of life of Klingon sex. Occasionally during Klingon orgasm, it is not uncommon to pass out completely by the pain.

Now that’s what I call an orgasm!
